CaribbeanStartupBlog.com is For The New RockStars in Caribbean Business. The site is part of the largest startup blog network globally which has over 50 blogs covering startups from the United States, Asia and Europe and has over 70,000 regular readers monthly and growing fast.
Having assessed the needs of Caribbean Startups and how we could be help in an immediate, consistent and significant way, we decided that our job is to promote and support Caribbean entrepreneurs wherever they are in the region and the world by giving them the platform to get known, stay in the news, get more site traffic, get supported, get new business and grow.
We’re are passionate about the fact that Caribbean entrepreneurs are some of the most talented, resourceful and innovative thinkers and doers and the region and world needs to know them and support them.

About the Startup Blog Network?
Alexander Muse started the network in 2005 when he published his first post on the Texas Startup Blog. In 2008, Alexander and his team expanded the network to all fifty states, with plans to expand outside of the United States over the next year. The Caribbean Startup Blog is authored by Ingrid Riley.
Who is Ingrid Riley ?
Ingrid Riley is an Internet Marketing Consultant, tech evangelist, entrepreneur and blogger. She writes and edits two blogs - SiliconCaribe.com and this one and is invested and involved in the development of the three web ventures. Added to that two years ago she founded and produced Caribbean’s first web and mobile industry networking event called Kingston Beta.
She’s also a highly respected Caribbean Internet Industry pioneer, who has consulted with over 10 Caribbean focused Internet Startups in Jamaica, Trinidad, Barbados and St Kitts; has co-founded three Internet related businesses including Caribclix.com – an online advertising network; developed Jamaica’s first Internet Guide in 1999 which won a National Press Association of Jamaica award for Innovation in Media; has written over 200 articles on Caribbean Internet Trends, Internet marketing and Internet Startups; has been a Dow Jones syndicated technology columnist and created and produced Tech Talk Live, a weekly Technology radio show. She’s constantly seeking fresh ways to help promote Caribbean entrepreneurship and has a growing roster of speaking engagements.
